How to use the AER RSS feeds ?

In order to run, the RSS-feed requires:  

• Either a web navigator that is compatible with RSS-feeds:
  
  • Fire Fox (Windows, MacOS X, Linux) from the Mozilla foundation
  • Safari (MacOS X Tiger) from Apple Computer
  • Opera (Windows, MacOS X, Linux) from Opera Software
  
  If you use one of these navigators, it is not necessary to use another tool, unless you are searching for advanced functionalities. Please note that Internet Explorer (6th version) isn't compatible with RSS-feeds.
  For example, if you use Fire Fox, you don't need to know the exact localization (url) of our feeds. Just connect yourself on www.aer.eu and click on the small logo in the toolbar.
  A menu appears, then you just have to select the desired RSS-feed to add it to your bookmarks (favourites) ; When you chose one of these markers, you‘ll automatically obtain  either the list of news, or the list of events and meetings. It is a little bit like if you had dynamics markers. You don't have anything to do, the update will automatically get done. Please note that the AER won't update your navigator, it is your Fire Fox that connects itself to our servers in order to check out if there is an update available.
  
  
• Or an application program that would be specialised in RSS-feeds reading, and which is called an RSS aggregator or an RSS newsreader. Some of them are free :
  
  • Net Newz (in French, Windows)
  • Netnews Wire Lite (in English, MacOS X) ; be aware that Netnews Wire isn't free, only the Lite version is free.
    
  • Snow News (in English, Linux)

• All RSS-feeds respect the RSS 2.0. format. They are compatible with all utilities (web navigators...) bearing one of the following formats : RSS 0.91 - RSS 0.92 - RSS 1.0 - RSS 2.0
