AER Presidium, Bureau and Institutional Affairs Session

On the kind invitation of the Region of Dolny Slask (PL) the next meetings of the Bureau and the Standing Committee on Institutional Affairs will take place on 10-11 June in the city of Wroclaw, capital city of Dolny Slask region located in the South West of Poland.

PROGRAMME PREVIEW

The region will welcome all the participants with an OFFICIAL DINNER  on the 10 of June starting at 19:00. Please note that an exceptional PRESIDIUM meeting will be held on 11 June from 08:15 to 09:15 in the morning. Accordingly the BUREAU and INSTITUTIONAL AFFAIRS meeting will start at 09.30  and finish at 16.30 in the afternoon of the 11 June. Afterwards the region of Dolny Slask is inviting all participants to take part in  a city excursion starting at 17:30.

CONTENT PREVIEW

The main topics of the Bureau meeting will be - the Future of Cohesion Policy, the Cooperation with other regional organisations and the AER General Assembly. The Institutional Affairs meeting will focus on the new Treaty of Lisbon - its impacts on the regions and regional institutions within the European Union and ways and methods of communicating the new Treaty.

The region is also organising TRANSFERS from and to the airport, please make sure that you give the AER secretariat all the flight details so that we can organise the transfers properly with the host region.
