KommunikationBrüsseler Frühstücksdebatten (2008)

A breakfast briefing? Croissants and Coffee? Yes, but not only...

Aim

The aim of the AER Breakfast Briefings is to inform our members in a short and pragmatic way about relevant and topical EU policies and/or funding opportunities. To achieve this, the AER Brussels office invites specialists from the European institutions, particularly from the Commission and the Parliament, to give presentations on a wide field of interests for the regions.  The meetings also serve as a platform for information exchange, thus allowing the participants to ask questions to the speaker and to go into more detail about their specific fields of interest in order to be able to report back to their regions efficiently and in a well-informed manner. The Brussels office would also like to use this meeting in order to gain a greater insight into the needs and interests of the regions in order to meet their needs more efficiently.

Target Group

The main target groups of these Breakfast Briefings are officers from AER member regions' Brussels offices. However, any other representative of a member region who is coming to Brussels can attend.

Meeting Venue and Time

The meetings take place from 09.00 - 11.00 in either the AER Brussels office or in the office of one of our member regions. The presentations will take approximately 30 – 45 minutes. Afterwards there will be the opportunity for the participants to ask questions.

Want to get involved?

If you would like to host a breakfast briefing, propose a topic for discussion or suggest a potential speaker, please contact the AER Secretariat in Brussels. We thank you in advance for your collaboration!
