Part of the event was Capalest in Regions, which had happened under the auspices of the Governor of Banska Bystrica Self - Governing Region Mr. Murgas.
04 August 2008 - The parachuting elite at the airport in the village of Bolkovce close to the city of Lucenec

The Banska Bystrica Self - Governing Region had given a subsidy of 100 thousands Slovak crowns to the organizers of XXX. World Championships in Parachuting, that had taken place at the airport in the village Bolkovce close to the city of Lucenec. The event had started on the 26.th July 2008. Totally 350 competitors took the chance to compete there and service personnel from 30 countries served these competitors. The event lasted until 2.nd August 2008.

27 Juni 2008 - Agreement between Alba County (RO) and Provincia di Alessandria (IT)

An agreement between Alba County (RO) and Provincia di Alessandria (IT) was signed today at the Alba County Council. The agreement establishes an institutional partnership in order to develop professional training and to facilitate the cultural exchange between the two communities.
23 Juni 2008 - Raft expedition along Mures River from Alba Iulia (RO) to Szeged (HU)

Today at Alba Iulia (RO) starts a raft expedition to Szeged (HU), on Mures River. The expedition is part of a bigger project addressing the local communities along Mures River, project that focuses on the common problems, such pollution. During the expedition round tables with the local communities will help to find solutions for their problems. The expedition is restoring an historical commercial route used by the Romans on the ancient times.

18 Juni 2008 - 4.8 million euros for enhancing the economic competitiveness of Alba county

Alba County Council submitted two projects for financing in the Transnational Productivity Cooperation Programme in Southeastern Europe. Both projects aimed to increase the economic competitiveness of the Alba County, in one case by creating an international innovation laboratory for growning competitiveness of the South East Europe, and in the case of the second project by conducting a network of cooperation for business success, in Southeastern Europe. The total budget of those two projects is 4.8 million euros, of which 320,000 euro represents the Alba County Council contribution.

The founders of the Forum are the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Odessa Regional State Administration and Odessa Regional Council. The Forum will be arranged under the support of European Business Association, State Agency of Investments and Innovations of Ukraine.
