Objectives
  • To improve the ability of, and opportunities for, young people to make a positive contribution to regional politics
  • To provide young people from throughout Europe with an interest in regional politics with an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences
  • To allow young people to make contacts with regional representatives and with other young people with similar interests
  • The target groups for the AER Youth Summer School are young people involved in local/regional youth councils, young officers and politicians, members of political youth associations, active members of NGOs and young people with an interest in regional politics. The Youth Summer School runs in parallel with the AER Summer School, a forum for regional politicians and officers. This provides a useful opportunity for the participants of the two Summer Schools to exchange experiences with one another.
