AER Interregional Cooperation Programmes

The Assembly of European Regions has three training and exchange of experience programmes for the regions of Europe.

SUMMER SCHOOL and YOUTH SUMMER SCHOOL

The AER Summer School has been running since 1996 and operates as a forum for exchange of experience in the area of regional development in Europe.

The AER Youth Summer School has been held on an annual basis since 2002. It brings together young people between the ages of 18 and 24 from across Europe to exchange experiences on issues of common interest.

EURODYSSEY

EURODYSSEY, the AER first programme, which was set up in 1985, aims at improving the chances of young Europeans to integrate into working life by offering them the opportunity of a work experience abroad.
